Chanukah Family Workshop

Join the Yaldaynu teachers and families as we celebrate Chanukah with coffee, jelly doughnuts, and crafts galore.  Hosted by our wonderful teachers, the children will enjoy craft stations creating Chanukah-themed art and craft projects.  Prospective families and members of the community are welcome to join!  Please RSVP to office@yaldaynu.org if you would like to attend.

WHAT'S HAPPENING AT YALDAYNU?

July 14, 2017

This week the Greenburgh Nature Center visited the Yaldaynu campers to introduce them to some friendly animals.  The campers met a snake, a chinchilla, a dove, and a turtle named Taco.  The children learned all about where the animals live, parts of their bodies, and the different foods they enjoy eating.

The Yaldaynu campers had a blast on the roof this week.  The beautiful weather allowed for lots of time running around, riding bikes, and playing on the playground equipment.  But, as much as the campers love playing on the roof, they will all say their favorite part of roof time in the summer is the homemade ice pops...

The Beachballs class enjoyed their second week swimming with their SwimJim teachers.  The children practiced floating and moving through the water, as they increased their comfort in the water and had tons of fun with their friends!

Today marked our first day of Yaldaynu Summer Camp 2017! Our three summer groups, the Seashells, Beach Balls, and Sailboats, are led by teams consisting of our current staff as well as new summer staff. 

Each week features special activities that include soccer, drumming & movement, music, swim, and more!
