ABOUT US

Yaldaynu Preschool, founded in 1982, is located in the Ansche Chesed synagogue. We have a rich curriculum and a close-knit family community. Our program serves children ages two to five years-old and fosters the development of our students as they explore the world around them through art, music, stories, dance and, most importantly, play. Yaldaynu offers three program options, including half day, full day, and extended day. Specific hours can be found in the Admissions tab under Tuition & Fees.

We also incorporate the community around us into the lives of our students. Whether it's a visit from Ansche Chesed's Rabbi Jeremy to hear the blowing of the shofar, a trip to the matzah factory to bake matzah for Pesach, a stroll down 100th Street to the library, or a gathering in Riverside Park to explore nature, our students appreciate the community around them as an integral part of their learning experience. In addition, the children gain a sense of community and Jewish heritage through the celebration of Shabbat, the Jewish holidays and Israel.

When our students leave us for kindergarten, they have both the skills they need to thrive in school and a strong sense of the community to which they belong.

We welcome you to Yaldaynu and invite you to explore our website and learn more.
