Exploring Fruit & Rosh Hashanah

We continued our preparations for Rosh Hashanah by learning about different fruit, including pomegranates and apples. The classes discussed how the fruit looked, smelled, and tasted. Some of the children chose to get a closer look using different magnifying glasses.

In conjunction with our Rosh Hashanah holiday curriculum, Yellow Door went on an apple picking trip to Dr. Davie's Farm. The children saw how apples grow on trees and picked some to bring home for their families. Thank you to all the parents and siblings that joined us on our trip!
